The new HIMOINSA GenSet Manager gives access to all the data generated by the control units of one or more generator sets in which the C2Cloud communication device has been installed. In this way, it is not only possible
to monitor the status of a whole fleet of generators in real time, but also simply use a mobile phone to start or stop the genset, change its operating mode or read and write the control unit configuration parameters.
With one and the same device, it is possible to manage up to 15 generator sets controlled by HIMOINSA or DSE control units, reducing the number of trips needed, as the system automatically estimates the dates on which each genset needs to be refuelled and helps to plan the maintenance schedule.
By incorporating global GPS positioning and accelerometry technology, it is possible to locate the devices and detect their movement even when they are switched off. In this way, after it has been programmed, the fleet manager sends an SMS message indicating a possible theft and the exact location of the genset, even blocking it if necessary.
The competitive advantages that this new fleet manager offers for rental applications and the telecommunications sector also include the possibility of gaining access, from a computer or mobile phone, to statistics relative to the performance and operation of the equipment and generate reports in CSV format for subsequent analysis.
